10-min real walkthrough — the AI builds the guide in under 90 seconds (watch the clock). No signup to watch.
If you're a benefits broker, consultant, or advisor, you already know the drill. Every upcoming renewal you're staring at a stack of carrier proposals, SBCs, and other documents — and somehow you turn that information into a benefit guide your client can actually hand to their employees. It can take hours. Sometimes you outsource it, sometimes you don't. It can cost up to $500 per guide.
Well, I've built something to fix that for you. I'm Gabe Janusa. This is BenefitBooklet.ai — an AI-powered platform built specifically for benefit advisors. All you do is upload a carrier proposal, benefit summary, SBC, etc., and AI will extract the plan details and structures and produce a branded, client-ready benefit guide. We're talking minutes, not hours.
Let me show you. I'm going to drop in a real carrier proposal. I'm in the system now — I grab the group I want to work on and start a new benefit guide. It pulls all the details already in the CRM. You can quickly import plan and company data from Employee Navigator, or build plans one by one. You can also drop in a logo and it will brand the benefit guide with the company's logo.
I'll add enrollment instructions, check my eligibility data, and go to the AI extraction tool. This is where you dump in the plan information you have. Let's start the clock: we're uploading three SBCs — three plans from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana — plus a UnitedHealthcare dental plan summary, a vision plan summary, and Guardian's employer-paid life, STD, and LTD plan summary.
Sometimes the AI will extract the preventive or pediatric dental and vision benefits out of the medical SBC, so we just quickly remove those. Then we order the plan designs — if we have more than one plan per benefit category, we put them in the order we want them displayed — and add in the rates from Employee Navigator or whatever system you're using.
We hit apply and can immediately preview the benefit guide. There are a number of different templates and cover pages, and again, you can brand it with the company's logo. There's a vendor directory: add your pre-built defaults for your brokerage, or have the AI extract contact details from the uploaded documents — brokerage information, medical plan carrier, TPA details, dental provider, vision provider, and so on. It's a great reference for employees on who to contact about their benefits.
On the dental page, the three imported options are shown side by side. I can reorder them, then add the rates for each plan design. The system calculates the cost per paycheck based on the number of pay periods built into the system. All the plan data you see on the page was extracted from the SBC. We do the same for the medical plans, vision plans, and so on — and if you match how it's set up in Employee Navigator, it will match how it's displayed to the employee as well. If you want the numbers hidden on the benefit guide, one click does it.
For STD, LTD, and group life, you can mark whether each is employer-paid with a toggle. You can drop in individual PDFs for each plan design or use the AI extractor — including voluntary plans like critical illness, cancer, hospital indemnity, and accident, plus tax-advantaged accounts and other benefit programs.
For branding, pick a template you like — and if you added a company logo, the system can extract the colors from it and brand the cover and interior pages to match. Hit preview, and there you go. If you like what you see, export it. The finished PDF lands in your CRM, inside the client's project file and documents.
And this isn't just a booklet generator. It has its own built-in CRM and new-business pipeline so nothing falls through the cracks, a vendor directory, compliance notices that auto-include Medicare Part D and CHIP, and AI quality-control checks on the finished guide for you to review. You can see every client imported into the system, which groups are ready to quote, an implementation guide to help through enrollment, a new-business pipeline, and which clients need renewal prep based on renewal date.
There's also a global directory of vendors and contacts across the country, Employee Navigator import, renewal tracking, and document storage for SBCs, benefit summaries, census details, historical rates, and claims data — much of which can be pushed into the AI extractor to generate benefit guides for you. When you're happy, you lock the proposal, make copies, edit them, and even drop in unique pages or brochures specific to your organization that show up inside the guide.
So here's the deal: it's only a dollar to try it out. Bring your ugliest carrier proposal — that 40-page PDF you dread every renewal — and we'll build a real guide with it. And if it doesn't work? You're out a dollar. Cancel anytime. Talk to you soon.
